Question: I am studying Economics at Technical University of Berlin and from this coming September I might transfer to Free University of Amsterdam. I have already got some school brochure, but with official documents I can hardly know how their students' life or courses are. If you can give me some info about it, it would be really appreciated. Thanks for your attention,
Answer: I'm a Computer Sciences student at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, and Iam afraid I don't know much about the either the Economics Department nor thestudent life. But I was wondering: do you have a choice about which universityyou go to, or does your university have 'agreements' with my universityconcerning exchange students? Because if you have a *choice*, and if youreducation is more important to you than having fun, then I suggest you go tothe Erasmus University in Rotterdam rather than the VU. I've read a couple oftimes that international surveys have shown that the Erasmus University offersthe BEST Business/Economic courses in Europe --even better than private schools. Just a tip... Enjoy your stay if you do come over!
