I'm looking for information on a weekend trip from England to Amsterdam.Could someone please tell me what ports ferries leave from in England (I'mleaving from the Midlands) and what the port's near Amsterdam are called?Also, what companies offer travel/hotel packages for Amsterdam and whatwould be the cost of?

Answer: There are no ferries from the Midlands, the Midlands being the middle ofthe country.

The usual route is a through ticket by coach, ( leaving from all overthe UK, change at London, ferry included), and as to accomodation, Ifound that A has lots, but suggest Bobs Youth Palace Hotel for therelaxed approach.
