I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I've never booked hotelsbefore.

What is the latest check-in time one might reasonably expect a hotelin Amsterdam to provide in the evening? Can you check-in any timebefore midnight, or do they tend to close earlier than that?

Answer: I think it depends upon the hotel. I usually stay in three of four starones, and they generally have someone on the desk all night long. (I'venever been to Amsterdam, but I imagine hotels in big cities have prettymuch the same rules, worldwide.)
