I'm going to stay in Amsterdam from May, 24 to 28 before going to England.I love to visit tulips garden over there. Can I see them at this time? This is a big reason to stop over in Amsterdam. If anybody has any suggestions for visiting beautiful gardens and watermills, I appreciate the comments.

Go to the Keukenhof. I think you will be right in time. I think the best way to go to the Keukenhof is to join an excursion. Ask the tourist information or your hotel. The best windmill place is Kinderdijk, about 80 kilometers from Amsterdam, but very touristic. Why don't you hire a bike and visited "Waterland". It is a beautifull countryside just north of Amsterdam. The best garden to visit is "Paleis het Loo". It is an 18th century garden, recently restored around a beautiful royal palice but it is in Apeldoorn, 150 kiliometers east of Amsterdam. Many trains go there at reasonable fares. If you like gardening in general, go the Aalsmeer, just south of Amsterdam. It is a town full of greenhouses and professional planters. Busses go there (about 30 minutes drive). You find there the worlds largest action of flowers. Altough it is a business, it worth seeing it.
