So, my friend and I won a truck last summer, sold it, split the money,and have $2,000 saved for taxes and a nice present for ourselves inthe spring. We were thinking that we probably won't need the wholetwo grand for taxes, probably less than one is all we'll need (hopethus). So, we're doing research on going to Amsterdam over springbreak. I know I've read aboot a lot of people going there forvacation and such. So: what's the cheapest way to get to Amsterdamfrom the U.S.? We're looking for something simple- a travel packagethat includes airfare and hotel accommodations. Are there any travelpackages for the poor stoner? Or should we just buy an few ounces ofnugs and keep the change? Thanks alot in advance!

Answer: guess a lot depends on where you live, but my wife and i went this past spring(end of march) and made our own arrangements. here's the scoop:

round trip direct flights from washington dulles to schipol, train from airportto central station, taxi to hotel, three nights in hotel, back the same way. webought about a half ounce total of 12 different kinds of weed/hash. everythingcame to just over $1200 for the two of us.

airfare is cheap before tourist season starts, and so are hotels. the hotelswe've stayed at in the past where in the vondel park area (south of town) andwithin walking distance to everything.
