I'm looking for some good adresses or websites from where you will be able to book a stay in a simple self catering apartment or studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I had some good experiences in Paris with this type of lodging. Better in many ways than a hotel. Thank you for your help.

Answer: Google for alex's apartments - but the one we had was up a VERY long flight of stairs with no lift (elavator)- not great unless you are fit
