How is the Amsterdam coffee shop scene around Christmas? Planning on a trip this year for a week Will the shops still be open? I hear the Dutch are thinking about limiting pot to Dutch citizens only in the coffee shops Any rumors or facts on this before I buy my plane ticket? I also hear it's fun at Christmas time

Answer: Don't worry. The coffee-shops will not be closed at Christmas. And even the prime-minister would force the dealing to foreigners, some time, I can assure that the Dutch will be very creative in transforming foreigners into Dutch citizens!!
