I will have an 8 hour layover in Amsterdam airport sept. 15--do I have enough time to catch a cab or subway for a quick tour of Amsterdam, VanGogh Museum, etc.?

Answer: you have to go true the gates and put you bagage in a locker take the train under the airport the stop central station you get out, there is a tourist info who tells something a bout amsterdam you stop in the middle of the city every thing is in walking distance, musea Rijks musea, frans hals, van gogh are there, take a boat true the canels first this is a way to orientate the city there are koffie shops are all over its oke just to go in, the menu card are interresting the red light district called the wallen is a nice neigbour hood but there are a lot of junks but not agressive. and is a big city with all the good and bad things
