I am sitting in a cafe in Amsterdam right now, poaching a wifi connection. There are about 25 people in the cafe. Two are not wearing jeans. Of the remaining 23 or so, 6 have black jeans and the rest (including me) have blue.

I was paying attention at the airport as well. 80% or more of the people in the international arrivals area (waiting for passengers, as I was waiting for my sister) were wearing jeans. These included people of all ages, with hair brown, green, and gray.

I am not sure whre these magical places in Amsterdam are in which nobody wears jeans, but they're pretty hard to find.
